Do you like to take your MTB into the Sierra Nevada?

This year the Vuelta de España, Spains own bike tour ended one day above Capileira. Thanks to this event now the road is paved with asphalt just two km above Capileira, until the ruins.

Just because of the event, interest in cycling has increased and last sunday we were able to make these beautiful pictures of horses, cyclists and hikers enjoying the september sunshine.

Veleta and the signposting of the path to the Refugio Poquiera

Many walkers enjoyed going up from the Hoya del Portillo just to Puerto Molina, where you have lovely views onto the mountains and the mediterranean sea (if the weather is clear).
